site specific 3 channels installation + plastic strings on walls
variable dimensions
A Cielo Aperto is an immersive site- specific installation based on maps of controlled airspace delineating, among other restricted and prohibited sites, the flight corridors used by military drones. The installation consists of wall projections of a single still image, a photograph of the sky and of a network of strings that cut through the space above the viewer’s head and cast shadows onto the walls.
A Cielo Aperto #3 is the third installation of an ongoing project. It is based on a Low Flying Chart of the sky above the Ligurian sky in Italy.
The work was exhibited at VX30 Chaotic Passion, 2016, Museo di Villa Croce, Genova, Italy
