The Maxi Trial (Italian: Maxiprocesso) was a criminal trial that took place in Palermo, Sicily, between 1986 to 1987 that brought more than 400 defendants on trial convicted for a multitude of crimes relating to Mafia activities, based primarily on testimony given in as evidence from a former boss turned informant.
The trial original documents are kept in Corleone at the AntiMafia centre (CIDMA) . It is a long row of semi-damaged files. The material is now only a historic record.
The video is a slow motion shot through these files.
2.665 is the number of years of prison sentences shared out between the people condemned.
